Jules is a parent of a child who suffers from non IgE gut allergies and completely understands the importance of careful food sourcing and retailing. I have yet to find another shop with such a unique variety and made several new discoveries.
Perhaps the most exciting for me was the rice cream, which will be a fabulous alternative to soya cream and oatly cream. I use these in the Glebe Farm scone mixes, in "quiches" and a variety of other foods.Also new to me were the "beond" bars, which are basically almonds and dates, agave nectar to sweeten and natural flavours. We have chocolate, raspberry and cinnamon and apple to try.
My daughter was equally thrilled with the Hummus Chips below. These came in several flavours but because of ingredient restrictions we tried just the Tomato and Basil flavour. Ingredients are below.
Jules stocks both strawberry and chocolate flavour individual sized cartons of Kara Koko Coconut milk and also Booja Booja and Bessant and Drury ice cream, the former made locally in the neighbouring county of Norfolk.
If you or your child prefers sweet treats that are a little less sweet, the Raw Chocolate Company make some delicious chocolate covered raisins (careful of the caffeine content in raw chocolate!) and Plamil make chocolate snowmen which are free from all major allergens. I have seen the latter in our local Holland and Barrett.
Jules stocks Moo Free chocolate and a host of other products. In a free fro world where soya often dominates I found plenty of inspiration here and now have two very happy children!
